This is a song I wrote a WAY back in the middle of my junior year. I
recorded a few crappy little acoustic demo versions, but none of them
turned out as well as this one.

I put this song away, thinking that it was crap. Recently, while
browsing through my old notebook I came across the song again, and
realized that it was pretty damn good for one of my older ones. So,
I made a drum loop and recorded the song. I'm really proud of it now.

On the outside, the lyrics seem pretty simple: it's an ugly person
who has accepted his uglieness and doesn't really care. If you go a
little deeper, it's really about accepting your problems and learning
to live with them, and also learning how to put them to good use.

This is also my first song to incorporate a Phaser pedal. It sounded
surprisingly good. :D :D
