I was listening to Weezer's first album when I was inspired to write this one. Their song "The World Has Turned" was particularly influental. This one is real sappy and sentimental. It's definitely NOT punk. It's probably the most optimistic, "alt-rock" song I have written so far.

I don't like my vocals, but I couldn't change them because the acoustic guitar and vocals are on the same track and I didn't feel like doing the acoustic guitar again. Plus when I recorded the electric guitar track, I was worried that the guitar would be too loud (yay for the Big Muff), but due to my paranoia I ended up recording it to quiet and I had to mix it a certain way to get the guitar up front. So it sounds like crap.
